Why Petpooja Payroll became Attendo

We started with restaurants. Petpooja Payroll was built to solve problems for restaurant owners: managing attendance, shifts, leaves, and payroll without manual work and month-end confusion.

But as the product grew, something unexpected began to happen. Businesses outside the F&B industry began reaching out to us. Retail shops, factories, offices, educational institutes, and businesses across different sectors were facing the same problems: manual attendance, complicated salary calculations, limited visibility, and difficult-to-manage systems.

We needed a name that could grow beyond where we started and represent where we were headed. A name for a product built to help businesses across industries manage their people, attendance, shifts, leaves, payroll, and more.

The problem we were solving was much bigger than F&B.
